Archipreneur is an English-language online magazine that focuses on the intersection of modern architecture and real estate development. The magazine has now discovered the new Zeil 111 building in Frankfurt, planned and realized by TEK TO NIK Architekten. The building, owned by the Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation, is remarkable for investors in many respects, not only because of the special technical difficulties involved in its construction, but also because of the prismatic glazing developed especially for this building. In the article, Andreas Derkum, Chief Design Officer at TEK TO NIK, once again explicitly points out the great challenges involved in managing the construction process, which were already taken into account conceptually from the very first design sketches. Archipreneur writes: “The entire process from the first sketches to the just-in-time delivery to the building site was only possible by a very well-rehearsed and seamless design.”
