“Day of Architecture” in Hesse on June 24 and 25, 2023

At the beginning of March, the independent expert jury of the Chamber of Architects and Urban Planners of Hesse (AKH) made its selection for the Day of Architecture 2023 from all the projects submitted. We were able to contribute two of the 101 projects selected: the ZEIL 111 residential and commercial building and the temporary daycare center for the Deutsche Bundesbank, both in downtown Frankfurt.

The Hessian Day of Architecture will take place on June 24 and 25, 2023, under the national motto “Planning | Building | Living – Architecture Transforms”. All selected projects will be presented in a printed booklet and on the AKH website. In addition, the same jury will later select a number of projects from all submissions that the AKH would like to propose for a DAM Prize of the Deutsches Architekturmuseum Frankfurt am Main.

The AKH emphasizes the public significance of the Day of Architecture as follows: “The Day of Architecture is an opportunity to … show that building with specially trained professionals is the best way to achieve a sustainable positive result for clients and society as a whole”.
