Next year, construction work will begin on the 8,500 square meter site in the “forgotten” Allerheiligen district. A 6-storey student residence, two 7-storey residential buildings, a hotel and a colorful mix of small stores and restaurants are planned. The interim use of part of the site shows that this will be a lively place to live and work. In just six weeks, Frankfurt restaurant entrepreneur Madjid Djamegari has built an unconventional nightlife location here, “a relaxed place, a small oasis in the city”. In addition to a bar, there is also a “market hall” with food offerings and a courtyard with several container bars. The idea for interim use came from the investor, TEK TO NIK submitted the building application. So, you can already sense something of the new vibrancy that will soon be created here. If you want to take a closer look at the current use, you can either visit the location directly (open Tues. to Fri. 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 3 p.m.) or check out the “yard.ffm” account on Instagram.
