In the ‘Building Interiors’ category, TEK TO NIK Architects are among the four entries to have received at least one nomination for the 2026 German Natural Stone Award. The award recognises our floor-to-ceiling sculptural design of the lobby at the Kastor Tower in Frankfurt am Main. Naturstein Hofmann shares our delight; they executed the design – which pushes the boundaries of what is technically possible today – with the utmost care and class.

Now in its 22nd year, the Natural Stone Award must be counted among the highlights of German architectural awards. Despite the sometimes slightly higher costs, clients often make a very conscious decision to use natural stone. In addition to its increasingly important ecological benefits, this natural material offers unique opportunities to emphasise the high-quality appeal of an architectural design with a tactile aesthetic that retains its beauty and urban appeal for many decades.

We are therefore particularly delighted to have received this award once again, and we look forward to meeting the other winners at the awards ceremony on 17 June 2026 in Nuremberg as part of Stone+tec 2026 (17–20 June, Messe Nuremberg). All nominated projects will be on display there for the duration of the trade fair in Hall 11, Stand C08.
